How do Vacation Credits work?

Vacation Credits are the currency of WorldMark South Pacific Club. When you became a WorldMark Owner, you purchased the Vacation Credits required to turn your holiday dreams into a reality.

 Here’s how Vacation Credits work:

  • When you joined the WorldMark South Pacific Club, the Vacation Credits you purchased were deposited into your WorldMark South Pacific Club account.
  • You can use Vacation Credits to book accommodation for single or multiple night stays at WorldMark South Pacific Club resorts according to the Credit Charts, seasonality, reservation guidelines and availability for each property.
  • Vacation Credits are deducted from your account at the time of booking your holiday.
  • All Vacation Credits have a lifespan of two years.
  • Each year, on your Anniversary Date your WorldMark South Pacific Club account is refreshed with the full number of Vacation Credits you own (unless you have borrowed from your following year’s allotment).
  • WorldMark Premier Owners can choose to borrow Vacation Credits from the upcoming year to increase holiday options in the current year, as long as the annual levy for the upcoming year is paid in full.

When planning your holidays it is important to remember that the number of Vacation Credits required to book a particular resort will be determined by four main factors:

1. THE TIME OF YEAR

The WorldMark South Pacific Club calendar has three seasons. To make it easy for you, they are colour coded. Red is high season, white is mid season and blue is low season. It is important to know that the dates and the seasons vary from resort to resort and from year to year. Take a look at your Resort Guide season charts to see how each season is indicated.

2. ACCOMMODATION TYPE

WorldMark South Pacific Club Resorts offer a wide range of accommodation types. From hotel rooms, studio apartments, one, two or three-bedroom apartments through to Grand or Presidential Suites. No matter what type of accommodation you book, you can be sure as a WorldMark Owner you will enjoy superior accommodation on your holidays. The majority of WordMark Resorts offer spacious self-contained apartments equipped with everything you need to make your holiday a success. WorldMark South Pacific Club is committed to keeping your accommodation looking and feeling ‘as new’. Apartment amenities vary slightly between resorts. Refer to your Resort Guide for a list of specific amenities. Naturally, a studio apartment will use fewer Vacation Credits than a three-bedroom apartment. Just take a look at your Resort Guide to see how the Vacation Credit values differ dependent on accommodation type.

3. THE DAY OF THE WEEK and 4. WHERE THE RESORT IS LOCATED

Two other factors to take into account are which days of the week you will be holidaying and where the resort is located. A general rule of thumb is that Monday to Thursday has a lower Credit rating than Friday to Sunday. We all know how popular those weekend breaks are! Remember, as a WorldMark South Pacific Club Owner, the variety and frequency of your future holidays is up to you! The best way to maximise your holidays and get the most out of your Ownership is by planning ahead, making reservations with your Vacation Credits and booking your holidays in advance. Vacation Credits will be deducted from your account at the time of booking your holiday.
